Setting Realistic Goals, Using Fasting, and Strategic Supplementation

I’m committed to getting in shape not just for appearances but to improve my overall health, keep up with my kids, and feel great. Right now, I’m at 255 pounds, 29.5% body fat, and have a 45-inch waist measured. It’s an understatement to say I’ve gotten a little off track the past few years. My ultimate target is 200 pounds with a body fat percentage below 20%. To get there, I’m refining my approach to goal-setting, implementing fasting, enhancing my cardio strategy, and optimizing my kettlebell training.

Setting Realistic Goals

I’ve learned that setting short-term, medium-term, and long-term goals helps keep me on track and makes progress more measurable. Here’s what I’m aiming for:

  1. Short-Term Goal (3 Months)
  • Target Weight: I aim to drop 10–15 pounds over the next three months, roughly 1–1.5 pounds per week. That would bring my weight down to around 240–245 pounds.
  • Body Fat Reduction: My goal is to reduce my body fat by 2–3%, getting closer to 26–27%.
  • Waist Size: I plan to trim 1–2 inches off my waist…
